Sharing on business trip in Spain

Dear LED display sales colleagues,

I am delighted to share with you my recent business trip to Spain. This business trip not only allowed me to personally experience the culture and beauty of Spain, but also had an in-depth communication with customers and gained some valuable experience. In this article, I'm going to share with you some of the things you need to know when traveling, and peek into what your customers are looking for in LED displays.

First of all, it is very important to make preparations in advance for the schedule of business trips. I booked client meetings 2-3 days in advance and secured their addresses and travel times. For customers who didn't respond, I made phone calls and tried to arrange a meeting with them. At the same time, I try to avoid cold calls, choosing instead to make appointments to ensure my clients' schedules. If there is an emergency, I will inform the customer in time and negotiate to postpone the meeting time, so as to maintain good communication.

Secondly, knowing the customer's business direction in advance is an important part of advance preparation. I did an in-depth research on the customers before I left to understand their business characteristics and needs. I have prepared sample boxes and module displays to show our products when we meet. I also keep examples of popular products and projects on the table to avoid delays and awkward situations. In the meeting, I pay more attention to the suppliers and partners of the products that customers have purchased, and learn about the peer companies with good reputation in the industry. I ask clients about their strengths and ways of working together to deepen mutual understanding and communication.

Third, timely recording of meetings and listening to topics of interest to customers are key to effective communication. In the process of communication, I took notes of the key points of the meeting and customers' suggestions on products, as well as the advantages of peer products. These records can provide us with valuable feedback and provide reference for the company's product improvement and market expansion. I also keep an eye out for specific buildings I see on my way to meet clients so that it's natural to bring up and start a discussion about local culture and activities. By learning more about Spanish culture, I was able to find a variety of topics to connect with customers, rather than just chatting about products. In addition, I also realized that I needed to further improve my oral communication skills in order to communicate with clients more fluently.

After meeting clients every day, I will arrange the meeting minutes in time and send a thank you email to the clients with the meeting minutes attached. I will review the project discussed, the customer's interest in the product and the way of cooperation to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the communication.

In terms of accommodation and daily expenses, I keep strict records of every expense and ensure the security of the property. Especially during the holidays, hotel reservations can be limited and expensive, so it's important to plan your accommodations ahead of time to avoid unnecessary hassles.

In addition, I have also collected some customers' demands for LED display:

Stock in Local warehouse: The customer wants to have a local warehouse for quick delivery and quality inspection.

Local service and after-sales support: Customers need our technical support and solutions in Spain.

Cooperation mode: The client is interested in cooperation mode such as distributor and exclusive agent, and hopes that we can provide different cooperation mode choices.

Through this business trip, I not only deepened my understanding of the Spanish market and customer needs, but also had a clearer understanding of the matters that should be paid attention to during the business trip. I believe these experiences and insights will benefit our LED display sales performance.
