Latin America’s “New Landmark LED Dome” Completed, SoStron and Client Partner to Create a Warm City
On November 7, 2024, the climate in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was warm and pleasant, with the footsteps of summer quietly approaching. In this vibrant season, a highly anticipated launch event took place in a massive LED dome exhibition hall. Covering 15,000 square meters, the venue, with its unique design and high-tech LED screens, presented an unprecedented visual and auditory feast for the guests.
Stepping into this grand LED dome felt like entering a dreamlike world of light and shadow. Inside the venue, a variety of LED screens in different forms were showcased, including LED walls, curved screens, floor screens, staircase screens, and cylindrical screens. Together, they created rich and colorful scenes, offering the audience a breathtaking sensory experience. Particularly striking was the design of the dome’s exterior, with its digital module matrix resembling a starry sea, giving the illusion of a starship descending to Earth. Stunning scenes and heartfelt wishes took the event to a new climax.
Looking back to earlier this year, when the client traveled all the way to Shenzhen, we strolled together through the Civic Center, climbed the Bijia Mountain, and gazed at the dazzling lights of the entire city. The light shows and warm, harmonious images deeply moved the client and inspired their dream of bringing more warmth to their hometown. Since that moment, we embarked on a journey of creativity and dreams, discussing, designing, and prototyping, until today when this dream is finally realized. Standing at the site of the project’s completion, we are filled with excitement and pride.
The success of this launch event could not have been achieved without the strong support of our suppliers and the presence of friends and family. The event made a significant impact, even receiving high praise from the local government. It is reported that several influential TV stations in Brazil will visit the DOME for filming and interviews this week.
