In the actual engineering application, the LED full-color display screen body, full-color display controller, control computer, optical fiber, audio equipment and control software in the outdoor LED full-color screen system are the most important and critical systems in the whole system. Common problems during installation of outdoor large screen

The large LED screen is installed outdoors, often exposed to the sun and rain, and the working environment is harsh. If electronic equipment is wetted or seriously damped, it will cause short circuit or even fire, which will lead to failure or even fire, causing losses.

The large LED screen may be attacked by strong electricity and strong magnetism caused by lightning.

The area of outdoor LED large screen generally ranges from several square meters to tens or even hundreds of square meters. The audience is wide, the visual distance is required to be wide, and the far field of vision is required to be wide. The ambient light changes greatly, especially it may be directly exposed to the sun, thus affecting the display effect.

The ambient temperature varies greatly. The LED screen itself will generate a certain amount of heat when it works. If the ambient temperature is too high and the heat dissipation is poor, the integrated circuit may not work properly, or even be burned, so that the display system cannot work normally; In winter, the ambient temperature is too low, which makes the display system unable to start.

Installation of steel structure

The steel frame structure carrying the large LED screen shall be firmly installed to resist wind and earthquake. Generally, outdoor LED display screens are installed in large areas, and most of them are installed in densely populated places. The design of its steel structure should consider many factors such as foundation, wind load, waterproof, dust-proof, moisture-proof, ambient temperature, lightning protection, and surrounding population density. At the same time, distribution cabinets, air conditioners, axial fans, lighting and other auxiliary equipment shall be placed in the steel structure, as well as maintenance facilities such as catwalks and ladders. Therefore, during the implementation, the entire outdoor screen steel structure shall have a design drawing that has passed the review of the competent government department to ensure the reliability and safety of the entire steel structure.

In addition, the erection of scaffold is an important link in the construction process of steel structure. It is necessary to ensure that the scheme before erection of scaffold is strictly designed, calculated and demonstrated, and that the site is constructed according to the specifications and tested at all times, so as to eliminate the safety legacy caused by erection of scaffold.

Standardized power consumption

According to the regulations of Code for Temporary Electricity Use on Site (JGJ46 - 2005), three-level power distribution system, TN-S neutral protection system and two-level leakage protection system must be used on the construction site. It shall be avoided that the three-level power distribution is changed into two-level power distribution during construction. The incorrect position of PE line and the incorrect position and frequency of repeated grounding are the practices of laying hidden dangers for safe construction.

Waterproof and moisture-proof

The outdoor LED display screen is installed outdoors. It is often exposed to the sun and rain, and the dust cover is blown by the wind. The working environment is harsh. If the electronic equipment is wet or seriously damped, it will cause short circuit or even fire, causing failure or even fire, causing losses; Therefore, the screen and its junction with the building must be strictly waterproof and leak proof; The screen body shall be provided with good drainage measures to ensure smooth drainage in case of ponding; Pay attention to waterproof and moisture-proof. It is worth noting that the protection level (front/back) of outdoor LED display is at least IP65/IP54, which cannot be lower than this protection level.

Ventilation and heat dissipation

Outdoor LED display screen shall be installed with ventilation equipment to cool down and keep the internal temperature of the screen at - 10 ℃~40 ℃. An axial flow fan is installed at the upper back of the screen to exhaust heat; When the outdoor LED display screen works, it will generate a certain amount of heat. If the ambient temperature is too high and the heat dissipation is poor, the integrated circuit may not work properly, or even be burned, so that the LED display system cannot work normally. Industrial grade integrated circuit chips with operating temperature between - 40 ℃ and 80 ℃ shall be selected to prevent the large screen system from being unable to start due to low temperature in winter.

Lightning protection and grounding

Lightning protection shall be done well. The LED body and shell shall be well grounded, and the grounding resistance shall be less than 3 ohms. The electronic components in the outdoor LED display screen are highly integrated, and its anti-interference sensitivity is required to be higher and higher. Lightning can harm the display system in various ways.

Generally, it may directly hit the screen and then discharge to the ground through the grounding device. Mechanical, electrical and thermal damages are caused where lightning current passes. The solution is equipotential connection, that is, the ungrounded or poorly grounded metal shell, the metal sheath of the cable, the metal frame in the display screen and the grounding device are reliably welded and connected, so as to prevent the over-voltage counterattack on the internal insulation of the equipment and the cable core caused by the transmission of lightning high potential on the inductive high voltage or grounding device. Outdoor LED display screen will also be attacked by strong electricity and strong magnetism caused by lightning. In order to timely discharge the large current caused by lightning, reduce the over-voltage on the equipment and limit the lightning invasion wave. Generally, lightning arrester shall be installed on the display screen and buildings.

Safety education

Helmets, safety belts and safety nets are the three magic weapons to reduce and mitigate safety construction accidents. At the construction site, the construction unit should require all personnel on site to wear safety helmets correctly. According to relevant data, the higher the level of safety education for workers, the better the quality of safety education, and the lower the probability of safety accidents than the enterprises whose safety education is a mere formality.
