Unleash Creativity with Large Stage Rental
The Sostron Carbon Series redefines the ROI of event rental. Engineered with a proprietary Carbon Fiber frame, these panels are 30% lighter than standard die-cast aluminum cabinets, significantly reducing structural load and shipping costs.
Material Science: The Carbon Advantage
Why choose Carbon over Aluminum? It comes down to Physics and Logistics.
Weight Reduction: At just [Insert Weight, e.g., 5kg] per panel, the Carbon Series reduces the dead load on trussing systems. This allows for larger hanging arrays in venues with strict weight limits.
Tensile Strength: Carbon fiber offers superior durability with a higher tensile strength-to-weight ratio than steel, making it impact-resistant during rough Load-in/Load-out cycles.
Thermal Expansion: Unlike metal, carbon fiber has near-zero thermal expansion, ensuring the screen stays perfectly flat (seamless) even under the intense heat of stage lighting.
Rapid Rigging & Curving Architecture
Time is money in the rental business. The Carbon Series treats the screen as a mechanical system.
One-Man Installation: The patented Magnet-Assisted Locking System allows one person to position and lock cabinets effortlessly.
Creative Freedom: Integrated Curve Locks allow for concave and convex setups (±15°), enabling creative stage designs like wave shapes or cylinders without needing custom brackets.
Touring Cart System: Panels ship in pre-wired Dollies/Touring Carts, allowing for “Fly-from-Cart” deployment, cutting setup time by 50%.

Technical Support & Engineering Installation Guide
The CarbonS Series is designed for high-definition indoor environments where precision is non-negotiable. To achieve a seamless, bezel-free visual experience, the installation must follow strict engineering tolerances. Sostron provides the following technical framework for system integrators.
1. High-Precision Structural Alignment (Z-Axis Control)
Small pixel pitch displays (P1.2 – P1.8) are sensitive to even 0.1mm misalignments. The CarbonS series utilizes a proprietary carbon fiber molding process to ensure structural rigidity.
Zero-Warp Frame: Unlike aluminum, carbon fiber does not expand or contract significantly with temperature changes. This ensures that once the screen is calibrated, the gaps between cabinets remain invisible.
6-Axis Micro-Adjustment: We recommend using Sostron’s specialized mounting brackets that allow for X, Y, and Z-axis micro-adjustments. This is critical for ensuring the screen surface is perfectly planar, preventing “dark lines” at the seams.
Surface Flatness: The installation goal should be a total surface deviation of <0.05mm across any 2×2 meter area.
2. Innovative Mounting & Space Optimization
CarbonS is optimized for space-constrained environments such as control rooms and high-end retail.
Direct Wall-Mounting: The ultra-slim profile (only [Insert Depth]mm) allows for direct attachment to load-bearing walls using a simplified rail system.
ADA Compliance: When wall-mounted, the CarbonS system often meets ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements for protruding objects, making it ideal for public hallways and corporate lobbies.
Corner & Curve Integration: Support for 90-degree mitered edges for seamless corner wrapping. Please consult our engineering team for custom CAD layouts for “L-shaped” or “U-shaped” displays.
3. Intelligent Power & Signal Topology
For mission-critical applications (Command Centers, Studios), redundant systems are essential.
Dual-Loop Redundancy: We support a “Daisy-Chain + Loopback” signal topology. If one data path fails, the backup controller takes over instantly without flickering.
Smart Module Monitoring: Each CarbonS module contains an on-board MCU. Installers can use our diagnostic software to monitor real-time voltage, temperature, and runtime hours for every single cabinet.
In-Rush Current Management: To protect your building’s electrical infrastructure, our power systems feature sequential power-up sequences to manage peak loads.
4. Thermal Management in Recessed Installations
When CarbonS is recessed into a wall or “boxed in,” heat dissipation must be managed:
Airflow Requirements: Even with the high-efficiency power supplies of CarbonS, we recommend a minimum 50mm clearance behind the screen or integrated ventilation at the top and bottom of the niche to allow for natural chimney-effect cooling.
Operating Thresholds: The system is designed to operate optimally between -10°C and +40°C. For installations near windows or heat sources, UV-rated filters or supplementary HVAC might be required.
5. Pro-Maintenance & Calibration
Full Front Access: All components—including modules, power supplies, and receiving cards—are accessible from the front using a magnetic vacuum tool.
Pixel-Level Calibration: After installation, a professional camera-based calibration is recommended. The CarbonS internal memory stores these coefficients, so if a module is replaced in the future, it will automatically match the surrounding screen’s brightness and color.
Yes. With optional Brompton or Novastar COEX processing and high frame rate support, the Carbon Series (specifically P2.6) minimizes scan artifacts and is suitable for virtual production backgrounds.
The Carbon Series panels weigh only 5kg each—significantly lighter than traditional aluminum cabinets (approx. 8kg+).
This ultra-lightweight design allows you to pack more panels into a single flight case and drastically reduces total cargo weight. For touring and global rental businesses, this translates to huge savings on air freight and truck transportation costs over time.
The modules are designed for front serviceability, making maintenance fast and easy even when the screen is wall-mounted.
Additionally, each module is equipped with a Flash Memory Chip that stores color calibration data. If you replace a module during an event, the screen automatically reads the data to ensure color uniformity, eliminating the need for complex on-site recalibration.
Not at all. In fact, it enhances stability. Carbon fiber is not only lighter but also possesses a higher tensile strength than aluminum.
With a hanging tensile strength of 900KG, the Carbon Series structure is incredibly rigid. Combined with the larger 500x250mm modules, the screen surface is flatter and more seamless than traditional designs, ensuring superior display quality.
Carbon Series: 7680Hz, 16bit, Nova A8s-N. Best for XR & Film.
Carbon SE Series: 3840Hz, 14bit, Nova A5sPlus. Best for Touring & Events.
(Both share the same durable Carbon Fiber frame and 5.5kg weight).
