1. Structural Engineering & Weight Optimization
One of the core technical advantages of the Storm Series is its high strength-to-weight ratio, which simplifies the requirements for supporting steelwork.
Torsion-Resistant Cabinet: The Storm cabinets are engineered to resist twisting and warping under heavy wind loads. This ensures that the LED modules remain perfectly aligned without “gapping” even on large-scale displays exceeding 50sqm.
Support Structure Integration: We provide standard mounting hole patterns (DWG available) that interface directly with common I-beam or square-tube steel frames.
Reduced Dead Load: By optimizing the internal component layout, the Storm Series reduces the overall “Dead Load” on building facades, often allowing for installation on older structures without the need for additional foundation reinforcement.
2. Strategic Airflow & Environmental Control
For standard outdoor installations, managing the “Micro-Climate” inside the cabinet is essential for preventing component aging.
Natural Chimney Effect: The Storm Series is designed to utilize passive air convection. By maintaining a 120cm minimum vertical airflow path within the rear structure, the screen can naturally vent heat without the need for high-maintenance external fans in most temperate climates.
Anti-Condensation Protocol: In high-humidity or coastal areas, we recommend utilizing the Storm’s Internal Humidity Management System, which includes specialized breathable valves (Gore-vents) that allow moisture to escape while preventing liquid ingress.
Front/Rear Hybrid Maintenance: Depending on your site access, the Storm series supports dual-access. For billboard sites with limited rear space, our Front-Slide mechanism allows for module and PSU service from the viewing side.
