Achieving a seamless “Digital Twin” environment requires more than just high-resolution panels; it demands precise synchronization between the LED volume, the camera tracking system, and the render engine.
1. Studio Geometry & Spatial Calibration
Building an xR Volume (Stage) requires absolute structural precision to prevent tracking drift and visual artifacts.
Seamless Curved Volumes: Hima xR supports high-precision mechanical curving. We recommend a minimum radius of 5 meters for LED volumes to ensure the camera’s focal plane remains consistent as it pans across the background.
Zero-Gap Floor Integration: When combining Hima xR walls with LED floors, we provide specialized base-frames that ensure a <0.1mm transition gap, preventing visual “seams” at the contact point between wall and floor.
Tracking Marker Integration: The Hima xR frame is designed to be compatible with infrared (IR) tracking markers (e.g., OptiTrack or Mo-Sys) without obstructing the LED pixels or causing heat interference.
2. Optical Performance & Camera Sync
To eliminate the “Moire Effect” and flickering, the Hima xR series utilizes high-end driver ICs optimized for film.
